These Terms of Use govern your use of the EVFinder website and service, operated by Alfie Automotive P/L (ABN [ ABN ]) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.
EVFinder is a vehicle-sourcing and information service. We help you identify used electric vehicles that may suit your circumstances, search for them on your behalf, and where you ask us to, introduce you to sellers or finance providers.
We are not the seller of the vehicle unless we tell you otherwise in writing. Any purchase is a contract between you and the seller of that vehicle, on that seller's terms.
EVFinder and EV Depot (evdepot.au) are related businesses under common ownership. Where we recommend or introduce you to a vehicle supplied by EV Depot or another related business, we have a commercial interest in that transaction. We disclose this so you can weigh our recommendations accordingly.
The service is free to you. We may receive a commission or fee from a seller, dealer or finance provider if a transaction proceeds. That does not change what you pay, and you are under no obligation to proceed with anything we present.
Everything published here — including guides, calculators, battery health explanations, running-cost estimates and any indicative weekly repayment figure — is general information to help you make your own decisions.
It is not:
Estimates depend on inputs and assumptions that will differ from your circumstances. Actual costs, repayments and vehicle performance will vary. Rebates, concessions, road user charges and tax treatment change over time and differ between states and territories — confirm the current position yourself before relying on it.
Where we provide a battery state-of-health figure or report, it reflects a measurement taken by a third party at a particular date and odometer reading, using a particular method. Battery capacity changes over time and with use. A report is evidence of condition at the time of testing, not a guarantee of future capacity or range.
You should satisfy yourself as to the condition of any vehicle before purchasing, including by commissioning your own independent inspection and battery test.
By submitting an enquiry you agree we may contact you about it by phone, SMS and email. You can opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
This site links to third parties, including EV Depot, finance partners and external information sources. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on general information published on it, and our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
The content, branding and design of this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may read and share it, but you may not reproduce it commercially without our permission.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its last-updated date at the top. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of [ state or territory ], Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
